iMaschine 2 App Reviews

They Did It Again.....

Well put together NI, just review by my friend "KSounnd" on YouTube. After watching it was a no brainer. Keep yeah posted on how I like it.....!

Loving this app. Excellent!

I have played around with a number of the other drum machines on the app store, and iMaschine 2 is better than almost all of them. The ease of use, the quality of samples, the Audiobus and IAA support, the expansion packs with a huge variety of samples and example projects… Plus all of it is under $10 right now. I honestly love this app. I use this as the drum machine for my Stienberg Cubasis DAW and they work perfectly together. The only downside to this app, is that as far as I can tell, there is no MIDI in support, nor any support for hardware at all. Doesn’t stop me from making great beats while mobile, but I have to admit, MIDI pad support would make this app absolutely perfect for how I work. Hopefully someone at Native Instruments is reading this.

Awesome app, midi support?

Any chance an update will be made for external midi controller support, for irig pads?

Garbage

No midi, no reverb, bad sample quality, limited export.

Pretty good

I wish I could add more patterns. Also please add Bluetooth support so i can use Imachine thru my Bluetooth speakers!!

Cant open is

On my 4s, I cant even open the app.

Intuitive but powerful

Im coming from the realm of guitar songwriting and exploring electronic music and this app is great. Pretty powerful and really awesome sample quality. I would like to see a way to control the recording input more: gain, edit clip, reverb and compression would make this app 5 stars.

I hate to say it

I have more fun with this app than I do in my DAW Its making me think seriously about switching from Push to Maschine Studio. You can really make great music ANYWHERE. 4 star because we can always improve. Also Im German, I hope my English is okay. That is a lie. Im Canadian.

Best music making app on the app store

This app really makes it a lot easier than any other app and a big improvement from imashine 1. It is definitely worth the money if you enjoy making music.

Useless unless you own maschine! Dont waste your money.

Looks good on the surface but pretty useless software unless you own maschine. No way to export to Dropbox. Audio copy doesnt work. Only saves maschine files so yeah pretty useless. Nice samples but what a piss off. Native Instruments fix this NOW!

Cannot export and cannot create full songs

Great app but cannot export if you dont already own a Physical Real Maschine Also cannot create full songs ー only loops and quick ideas. However I do love how powerful it is... I hope an update will fix this. The developer intended it to be limited this way... Please unlock those features.

Great app, but would be better with MIDI input

Am surprised NI doesnt support MIDI input for triggering the pads.

Good packs, needs midi in!

This app would be sooo much better if I could plug in my Maschine MK2! Besides that, chop function is sweet. Packs are nice. It needs a side chain compressor.

GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK

App is truly a piece of garbage. If it were free I would understand. But the fact youre paying $14 so you can spend more money is ridiculous. The app itself can make no good music. Just simple drum sounds that wont go together. Barely any vocals. I seriously want a refund.

Good app but nowhere to take it!

Good: -Relatively easy to learn -Create loops easily -Sampling is fun w/ pitch change & backwards -Powerful and stable software -Quality sounds Bad (Depending on your needs): -You cant make full length songs (eg. 3 minutes) -You cant plug in a real drumpad -Hard to edit a beat, for instance if you nail a real nice loop but one pad press was slightly off you cant just move it ahead or back in time. Youll have to redo that one drum kick over and over til its recorded perfect. I used the first iMaschine app for two years and then bought the updated iMaschine2 and used it for a bit before buying FL Studio Mobile. FL Studio Mobile allows you to record full length songs, plug a drumpad into your iPad/iPhone, and edit a beat... All the things missing with this app. iMaschine2 is fun for making little beats but to elaborate and create a musical masterpiece, you might want to keep searching.

Great app

Please allow project files to be sorted by date!

No sound via bluetooth

I cant hear any sound with bluetooth earphone. Plz fix this bug.

WTF????

This app has crashed!!! I cant use this!!! You must return money to me soon!!!!!

Dope!

Much better than the first one!

Bloody useless!

No sound from headphone jack nor via bluetooth is absolutely unbelievable. I would like the refund of 2400 yen.
